 Full Height Shutters(Traditional)

 

 Full height shutters are sometimes known as''Traditional Shutters'' when selected with 32mmlouvres.  

When used with the larger louvres (63.5mm, 88.9mm and 114mm) They are often referred to as ''colonialShutters'' or ''Plantation Shutters''.

 When the panel height exceeds 1, 800mm* a mid or''intermediate rail'' is used to strengthen and stop the panelsfrom twisting. When an mid rail is incorporated in the panel thelouvres above and below the mid rail can be operated independently,giving greater flexibility to lighting and privacy as can be seenin the picture on the right.

 

 Tier-on-Tier Shutters

 

Tier-on-Tier shutters allows foreither the top or bottom half to swing open independently. Thusallowing full light to enter through the desired sections. Thisstyle is often chosen for large Edwardian and Victorian town houseswhere privacy and accessible light arerequired.
